A man was hit and killed by a local bus in downtown Győr on Monday night (13th December), the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Police Headquarters reported on the police website.
The accident took place at the intersection of Szent István road and Aradi Vértanúk road shortly before half past eight, when a bus swept to the right – in hitherto unclear circumstances – a 57-year-old man was injured so seriously injured in the accident that he was killed on the spot – the news was shared on police.hu.
The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the Győr Police Headquarters.
